5. Creative

Overview

Creatives are the ads you upload — images, video, audio, or native.

Adding Creatives

  • Go to Creatives.
  • Click New Creative.
  • Choose type (banner, HTML5, audio, video, native, Meta, YouTube).
  • Upload files (must meet specs).
  • Add landing page URL (+UTM if needed).
  • Optional: add impression tracker.
  • Set start/end dates if they differ from the campaign dates for specific creative
  • Submit.

Specs by Channel (examples)

Display (Desktop):
300x250, 728x90, 160x600, 970x250, 336x280, 468x60, 300x600, 970x90, 200x200, 300x1050.

Mobile Display:
320x480, 320x50, 728x90, 300x250, 360x640, 300x50.

Video (Online Video):

  • File format: MP4 only
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9
  • Resolution: ≥1920x1080
  • Minimum video bitrate: 5 Mbps
  • No duplicate or blended frames
  • No pillarboxing or letterboxing
  • File size: 1 GB maximum

Connected TV (CTV):

  • Tags: VAST tags only
    • VAST 2.0 and 3.0 supported (VAST 2.0 recommended for maximum scale)
    • No VPAID elements
    • No more than 1–2 VAST wrappers
  • Resolution:
    • 1280x720 for 720p
    • 1440x1080 for 4:3 aspect ratio
    • 1920x1080 for 1080p (recommended)
  • Duration: 15–30 seconds recommended; 60 seconds maximum
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 (recommended) or 4:3
  • File format: MP4
  • File size: 1 GB maximum

DOOH:
1400x400, 1920x1080, 1080x1920, 2160x3840.

Audio:
.mp3, .wav + companion banners (300x250, 728x90, 320x50, etc.).

Meta:
1080x1080, 1200x628; includes text + CTA.

YouTube:
Video link + headline/CTA.

Native:
1600x1200 images, headline, sponsor line (≤500KB).

Other:
HTML5 and ad tags supported; animations capped at 15s.

Managing Creatives

  • Group by name/size/type.
  • Preview on upload (broken = wrong specs).
  • Download if needed.
  • Use clear naming conventions.

Best Practices

  • Always request spec sheet.
  • Keep a control creative running.
  • Use UTMs.
  • Flight-specific creatives for promos.
  • Refresh every 6-8  weeks depending on media spend.
